Active Phonics
In each book the students are required to use visual and auditory discrimination skills with pictures and words to identify each phonic sound treated.
Activities include:

• colouring/circling/matching pictures ending with the single consonant sound, blend or digraph;
• copying each single consonant sound, blend or digraph with school script;
• following directions;
• yes/no words;
• rhyming words;
• read and draw;
• adding own words to the given list of final sounds.
